FIVE: Songs for spring

Now that it is officially spring, here are five songs to shake off those winter blues.

5 “The Rain Song” – Led Zeppelin
Just like the weather of spring, this song only gets better as it goes on.

4 The Four Seasons – Antonio Vivaldi
Just the first season is applicable, really.

3 “Dawn” – Dario Marianelli
From the soundtrack to Pride & Prejudice. If spring were a piano, these are most likely the words that it would say.

2 “Here Comes the Sun” – The Beatles
This song is spring in both the lyrics and accompanying music. It truly is hard to find a more appropriate song for the time of year.

1 “Inní Mér Syngur Vitleysingur” – Sigur Rós
Even if you can’t speak Icelandic or understand a word in this song (I can’t), I challenge you to listen to this song and not be smiling by the end of it.
