The Carillon has been the University of Regina student newspaper since 1962.
Published regularly throughout the academic year, it continues to serve as a platform for student voices, journalism, and community storytelling.
Our Story
A voice shaped by generations of students.
In the late 1950s, a bell tower was planned for campus but never built. That idea became something else: a publication that would carry student voices across the university.
The Carillon has since become that symbolic tower — a place where stories, perspectives, and ideas are shared openly and consistently.
Our Journey
Founded as the student newspaper of the University of Regina.
